Staff Analysis of the Legislation

This bill permits the Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing to consult with prescribers and health care systems on best practices with respect to prescribing controlled substances; and requires the division to take certain steps after it receives a report from a medical examiner relating to a death by poisoning or overdose. |
